Training program dates:
On Eagles Wings members also may attend 'IPSII
Inc.'s Day at the Minnesota Capitol' on Wed. 3.19.09
Training program times:
Training program supports:

A light breakfast and
lunch will be provided

Participants may be
reimbursed up to $50 per OEW training for childcare costs.

Eligible mileage,
Personnel Care Assistance and translation/facilitation services will
be provided on a limited basis

On Eagles Wings
is a Leadership Training Program on
Disability for African American adults [18 yrs and older] with developmental
disability and African American parents who have African American children
under the age of 18 yrs with developmental disabilities.

On Eagles Wings
teaches
participants, introductory leadership skills and the process of developing
positive partnerships with elected officials and other individuals who make
the policy decisions about services that participates and their families use;
-
On Eagles Wings is funded in part by the Minnesota Governor's
Council on Developmental Disabilities financed in part by a grant from the
Department of Health and Human Services, Administration on Developmental
Disabilities under provisions of P.L.106-402.
