Leadership Training Program     

Pathways is an introduction to some of the Partners in Policymaking® Leadership Training concepts and is designed for young Adults with developmental disabilities [18-30 yrs] to increase their Independence, Productivity, Self Determination, Integration & Integration [IPSII].

Training Site

Trainings will be held at
Jordan New Life Community Church
1922 25th Ave. North Mpls. Mn. 55411
A light breakfast and lunch will be provided.

Participant Supports

  • Selected Participants will receive a $50 stipend at the successful completion of each training.

  • Eligible mileage, Personnel Care Assistance services and translation/facilitation services will be provided on a limited basis.

What you will learn at Pathways Leadership Training Program                                               

  • This program teaches introductory leadership skills and the process of developing positive partnerships
    with elected officials and other individuals who make the policy decisions you use.

  • Our goal is to provide training that will enhance your skills to seek and maintain employment.

  • Participants will learn:

    • How to access services;

    • How to recognize and improve the services they receive;

    • And who within the service delivery system can be contacted for more information or concerns about services.
